JNPMEDI-Kangbuk Samsung Medical Center has signed an MOU on to collaborate in the “Patient-Centered Smart Clinical Trial Center.”

On July 28th, JNPMEDI and Kangbuk Samsung Medical Center (KBSMC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a ‘patient-centered smart clinical trial center’.

This agreement was promoted with the aim of creating a smart and patient-centered clinical trial center by digitally-enabling and strengthening the competitiveness Kangbuk Samsung Hospital’s clinical research center, which was newly established earlier this year. The two companies plan to expand the scope of cooperation, starting with the implementation of remote electronic consent services for the Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) conducted at Kangbuk Samsung Medical Center.

Kangbuk Samsung Medical Center will provide its clinical trials knowhow, expertise, and infrastructure, and JNPMEDI will provide its ever-increasing set of AI and blockchain-backed clinical trial and DCT-enabling tools.
